About BestIPv4Proxies

We're an independent comparison site on a simple mission: replace proxy marketing hype with real, repeatable numbers — so you can buy the right proxies with confidence.

Why we exist

The proxy market is noisy. Every provider claims the biggest pool, the fastest speeds and the best price, and most "review" sites simply rephrase those marketing pages. We started BestIPv4Proxies because we were tired of guessing — we wanted a resource grounded in actual measurement, with an unapologetic focus on the IPv4 proxies that still power the majority of real-world work in 2026.

So we do the unglamorous part: we pay for real plans, push tens of thousands of live requests through each network, and record what actually happens — success rate, latency, IP freshness and the true cost per gigabyte once the introductory discounts wear off. Then we rank providers on what we measured, not on what they told us.

How we test

Our 2026 benchmark covered eleven providers across six target categories, using identical workloads for fairness. Each provider is scored on four weighted criteria:

  • Value (30%) — true cost per GB or per dedicated IP at realistic volumes.
  • Speed (25%) — median time-to-first-byte and full-response time across regions.
  • Coverage (25%) — pool size, freshness, locations and breadth of proxy types.
  • Support (20%) — support quality, documentation, billing flexibility and sourcing transparency.

We re-run the benchmark every quarter, because networks change — pools grow, prices shift and performance drifts. You can read the full process on our methodology section.

Our transparency promise: BestIPv4Proxies is operated by the team behind Cheapest Proxies, which is why it appears first on our list. We state that openly on every page. Every other provider is ranked strictly on measured performance, and where we earn an affiliate commission it never changes a score. If a competitor outperforms us on a given metric, we say so.

Who writes this

Our reviews are produced by the BestIPv4Proxies Research Team — a small group with hands-on backgrounds in web scraping, data engineering and growth marketing. We've spent years buying, configuring and breaking proxies in production, and that practical experience shapes everything we publish. We don't accept payment to alter scores, and we update or correct any figure that drifts out of date.

What this site covers

BestIPv4Proxies is more than a single ranking. We aim to be a complete resource for anyone choosing or using proxies in 2026, which is why the site is organised into a few clear areas:

Our editorial principles

Four commitments keep this site useful and honest:

  • Measure, don't guess. Rankings come from real tests on real plans, not vendor spec sheets.
  • Disclose every relationship. We state plainly that Cheapest Proxies is our own network, and we flag affiliate links.
  • Score independently of commercials. A commission never changes a rating; if a rival wins a metric, we say so.
  • Keep it current. We re-test quarterly and revise pricing, scores and rankings as the market moves.

Who this site is for

Whether you're a solo developer running your first scraper, a growth marketer verifying ads across regions, a reseller chasing limited releases, or a data team collecting public information at scale, the goal is the same: help you pick proxies that work for your task and budget — without wading through marketing spin. If you're brand new, start with what is an IPv4 proxy; if you're ready to buy, jump to the comparison table.
